Ring in the Independence Day weekend in with fashion from around the globe and the best networking under one roof at Fashion Fête NYC 2012!
Last year, entrepreneurs local to New York and New Jersey
conceived a night of fashion and entertainment as an innovative way to attract
new patrons to their Christian businesses and packaged it all in one action-packed night of global fashion, international cuisine and creative networking in the second annual Fashion
Fête on June 28, 2012.
Fashion Fête - a networking event with a fashion backdrop - will spotlight companies with a commitment to Bible-based principles of business at Le Souk Lounge and Restaurant, 510 LaGuardia Place, in Greenwich Village amidst fashion and art.
Fashion Fête, slated to begin at 6 p.m., will use fashion as "the creative backdrop" to introduce and highlight products and services to a New York audience - an audience that enjoys avant-garde art, fashion and entertainment.
From Harlem's Bea's Salon and Spa and Brooklyn's Family Day and Night Care to Jersey's Cheek2Cheek Designs branding/promotions company and New York's Scotch Bonnet Grill, each business to be spotlighted at Fashion Fête serves up quality products and services while upholding values of integrity, honesty and genuine kindness taught by the Holy Scriptures.
"Last year, we had over 200 people in attendance and we plan to make it bigger and better this year," said Wardell Duncan, CEO of Zion Society/The Vision 3 Group, a multi-level entertainment services company that spearheads NY/NJ's hottest Christian Club - Club Zion. "We provide an opportunity for Christian business owners to network, enjoy an evening of fashion and music and gain both recognition and patronage from a mainstream market."
The event, to be hosted by NEWD's Managing Editor Tiffani Knowles, will feature fashion show scenes creatively fused with live music and spoken word performances. Local and international designers include House of Renee, LeGair Brand Fashion, Ethel Fashion, JK Experience, India Marcel, Tim Arrington, Stunning Stilettos, OmoYeni and Pauline Asmah Designs.
Other event components include a live DJ, tasty Moroccan dishes, spectacular giveaways, speed networking, business spotlights and dancing.
Fashion Fête is free and open to the public, provided they
bring along a business card.
Sponsors include Design Essentials, Jane Carter, Scotch Bonnet Grill and Family Life Day and Night Care.
Fashion Fête is co-coordinated by Pampered Kisses, Statuesque Events and Zion Society/Vision Group, D2LAL and NEWD Magazine.
