AA Plane Crash in Jamaica

An American Airlines flight carrying 154 people skidded across a Jamaican runway in heavy rain, bouncing across the tarmac and injuring more than 40 people jsut three days before Christmas.

 
The accident happened about 10 p.m. Tuesday, about an hour and eight minutes after taking off from Miami.
 
While landing at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, the plane overshot the runway and skidded until coming to a stop at ocean's edge. There were no reported fatalities.
