Never brag about speeding, especially online.


A 19-year-old Canadian man has learnt his lesson after boasting online about driving 100km/h over the speed limit.


York Regional police in Vaughan, Ontario said Vladmir Rigenco pleaded guilty to the charge and has been banned from driving for six months, sentenced to 12 months probation and must pay a $1,000 fine.


Rigenco says the police couldn't prove anything and that it was just forum even though Rigenco admitted to stopping his 2006 BMW M5S on a subdivision zone and then flooring.


"I hit 140 in like 6 or less seconds lol," he wrote.


After receiving negative reaction from forum readers, Rigenco apologized and expressed regret in numerous posts.
When asked about how he felt about all of the attention, he said "How do you think i feel? Famous for something stupid."


Constable Serguei Barmakov says Rigenco knew it was coming and he was remorseful for his actions.


But, his lawyer Aaron Spektor said "he feels really stupid, what business does he have behind the wheel of a M5? A 500-horsepower car?"


Suffice to say, his parents took his car.
